GENERAL MOTORS SIGNS NEW CONTRACTS WITH ITS BULGARIAN DEALERS
General Motors Europe, the European representative office of the US car maker, signed new contracts with the Opel and Chevrolet dealers for Bulgaria. The agreements meet the requirements of the European Union. They will become valid on January 1, 2006 and are absolutely in line with the requirements of the EU antimonopolistic legislation (Block Exemption Regulations).
The US company representatives signed individual agreements with each of the dealers for the sale and repair of cars of the two brands. Therefore, the dealers will be the first to apply the EU rules in Bulgaria, even though the country has not become a member of the community yet.
