YAMBOL AND SLIVEN TO BUILD A BUSINESS PARK
A project for the construction of a joint business park by the municipalities of Sliven and Yambol will be presented within the Southeast Europe economic forum scheduled to take place in Sofia in November. The proposal is made by the Sliven regional administration and aims at using the potential of the two neighbouring towns and the construction of the Trakiya highway in order to improve the transport communications and stimulate the economy of the region. The initiative is planned to be financed under the UN JOBS program, but according to preliminary information, foreign investors are interested in the idea, too. It will definitely be paying for some of the wine producers in Bulgaria as well. Two of the country's biggest and most modern wine plants as well as a few smaller wine-cellars are concentrated in the region.
