UN AND CISCO WILL ASSIST BULAGARIAN CULTURAL CLUBS
The United Nations' Programme for Development (PDUN) has signed a regional agreement with the Bulgarian office of the US computer company Cisco Systems within the framework of the Cultural Clubs project, which is financed by PDUN, the US Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Government of the Netherlands. Our company was born in the university circles. Therefore, its managers have taken upon themselves as their duty to help education worldwide, Robert Luis, Head of Cisco's Education and Training Department, explained. In the beginning we assisted experimenatlly the schools in one state in the USA. Today we have an educational network in 133 countries with hundred thousands of students, Mr Luis added.
