UKRAINE TO SETTLE WITH RUSSIA ITS CLAIMS TO BULGARIAN ESTATES
Ukrainian claims to estates of the former Soviet Union in Bulgaria will be specified after negotiations between Moscow and Kiev, Ukraine's Ambassador to Sofia H.E. Vyacheslav Pohvalskiy announced in front of journalists. He refuted information in the press that his country's claims were directed only to estates in Bulgaria and Germany. After the agreement for succession of rights, signed between the states of the former USSR on December 4, 1991, Ukraine's share in the Societ Union's assets and liabilities is 16.37 per cent. Therefore we have the right to that per cent in all countries where the USSR had estates, the Ambasador explained.H.E. Pohvalskiy specified that the country has limited its claims to 36 countries, at that only for real estates, ensuring the operation of its dimplomatic consulates.
