NO CHANGES IN BIOCHIM MANAGEMENT BOARD
Expectations for dramatic changes in the BIOCHIM Management Board did not materialize. Although rumours were spread round the banks persistently these days, the bank's Supervisory Board did not make such decision. The BCC Management Board meeting of December 14 did not discuss any changes of the bank's management team. It was even never planned in the agenda. The BIOCHIM Management Board, however, needs not changes, but new members, since in September Jivka Sarachinova left it to become a Director of SG EXPRESSBANK's Vazrajdane branch. The BIOCHIM Supervisory Board has not yet appointed a successor, although there are plenty of candidates. One of them is Alexander Popov - Director of BIOCHIM's Batemberg Sofia branch
In the meantime, according to some sources, Tsvetan Tsekov - the bank's Executive Director, would be replaced by Tencho Tenev of the Central Cooperative Bank, one of the former managers of BIOCHIM.
I have never had any intention to resign, said to the Banker weekly Tsekov before the BCC Management Board meeting. He rather expected BCC to approve the suggested restructuring of two company debts to the bank, but refused mentioning names.
