NIKOLAY VASSILEV CHANGES HEAD OF TRANSPORT DIRECTION
Nikolay Vassilev, Bulgaria's Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Telecommunications, changed the head of the Civil Aviation Administration, Ivan Banchev. It is a replacement that the BANKER weekly forecast more than two months ago. The new director of the administration, Kalin Barzov, is former manager of the Bourgas airport (from 1990 to 1998).Kalin Barzov is a law graduate from the Sofia University. He has specialized in International Economic Relations in the University for National and World Economy in Sofia. Barzov has also specialized in airport management, airport economy, management of civil aviation security, etc.The replacement in the aviation administration is provoked by the need of more activity in the implementation of current tasks facing the civil aviation, the Transport Ministry explained.
