LIDIYA SHOULEVA HAS INVITED THE SYNDICATES
The minimum wage should be raised to BGL100 as of October 1, up from the current BGL85, and budget salaries should go up by 10-11per cent. These are some of the most urgent economic and social measures for which the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) will insist in front of Vice Premier and Minister of Labour and Social Policies Lidiya Shouleva on Monday, August 13. Ms. Shouleva has invited CITUB's represenatives to meet her on that day.
The dates for meetings with representatives of the local employer organizations - the Bulgarian Industrial Association and the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry have not yet been fixed, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies informed the BANKER weekly.
