INVESTIGATION COMMITTEE APPOINTED TO INQUIRE INTO VURBANOV'S MALFEASANCE
On February 7 the MPs appointed the members of the temporary investigation committee, which will inquire into the malfeasance on the part of former minister of agriculture Ventsislav Vurbanov during his term in office. A week ago the Prosecutor General Nikola Filchev demanded revocation of Mr. Vurbanov's deputy immunity.The investigation committee includes 12 MPs - six from the National Movement Simeon II (NMSII), and two from each of the other parliamentary groups. The committee is chaired by Borislav Ralchev. The other five deputies from the NMSII are: Vessela Draganova, Plamen Mollov, Valentin Miltenov, Nina Radeva and Stoyan Koushlev. Yordan Sokolov and Eliana Masseva are the represenattives of the Union of Democratic Forces coalition, Tatyana Doncheva and Boyko Rashkov will represent the Coalition for Bulgaria, and Remzi Osman and Rassim Moussa - the ethnic Turks' Movement for Rights and Freedoms. The committee should complete its work within a month.
