INTERTEXTILE SPRING 2002 HELD AT NDK
INTERTEXTILE spring 2002 was opened at the National Palace of Culture (NDK) on April 3 with a fashion show. The traditional exhibition, organized by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was opened by NDK's CEO Hristo Droumev. The famous beauty Nataliya Gourkova also attended the fashon show, where models demonstrated clothes by Bulgarian and foreign producers. Ladies', gentlemen's, and children's ready-made clothes were presented by the fashion houses Dika Style, Lapet, Gerotic, Tuhe, Sonata, Dimar, etc. The companies Virginia and Joral and Gabi showed their latest children's collections.The exhibition is held twice a year - in the spring and autumn - and has become a business centre were the most recent products in the sphere of textile, ready-made clothes, leather articles and accessories, are presented. More than 65 companes from Bulgaria, Turkey, Hungary, and Germany, will display their latest good-quality products which are expected to arose the interest of both experts and buyers.It is already known that one of the most visited stalls is that of the textile factory Sviloza of Svishtov, the only local producer of rayons, bearing the trade mark Svilotex. The producer of raw cotton Belotex of Zlatograd and the importer of fabrics, linings, and threads Elmaztex, also expect to attract many clients.The direct participation of the Turkish company Kumas Dis Ticaret Pazarlama A.S., which offers cotton yarns for weaving and knitting, and materials for the socks and stockings industry, will attract experts' interest. During the spring exhibition visitors can meet potential partners and discuss opportunities for cooperation in the sphere of these branches, which are of priority importance to the Bulgarian economy.
