INBC IMPOSED FINES OF BGN164,120 IN MARCH
The Inspection for National Building Control (INBC) issued 514 punitive decrees in March, imposing fines and other sanctions, worth a total of BGN164,120, INBC's head announced for the BANKER weekly. During the same month the INBC issued orders for cancelling construction and assembly work at 72 building sites and forbade inhabiting and using another 196 public and housing buildings. In this period a construction site in the Pavlovo living complex in Sofia was voluntarily destroyed. As of the beginning of April by order of INBC's head an inspection began of all buildings and equipment on the territory of the Vitosha park (in the eponymous mountain). It is aimed to establish the legality of construction which is presently going on there. A similar inspection began on April 8 along the Black Sea beaches, resorts, and holiday villages. By April 26 experts of INBC's regional divisions will be checking the legality of construction work, that is going on in Balchik, Kavarna, Kranevo, Shabla, the Albena resort, Varna, Skorpilovtsi, Dolen Chiflik, Byala, the village of Avren, the seaside resorts Golden Sands, Sts Constantine and Helena, Chaika, Sunny Day, Riviera, Elenite, and Dyuni, Bourgas, Nessebar, Sozopol, Pomorie, Ahtopol, Kiten, Primorsko, St. Vlas, ravda, Chernomorets, Lozenets, Obzor, and Primorsko.
