HEBROSBANK'S EURO CAMPAIGN ENDED
HEBROSBANK held a broad campaign to attract new clients with deposits in the new common European currency. The campaign started in November 2001, and in the beginning of 2002 the bank delivered the symbolic coin of EUR1 to its first 500 clients who had opened accounts in euros. They also received honorary diplomas. On April 2 HEBROSBANK's CEO Gautam Vir and the Deputy Direcor General of Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan Emanuel Ryozeler handed officially the awards to the winners in the second round of the game. More than 5,000 new and old clients of the bank with current accounts in euros took part in the lottery. A three-member commission drew the two winners, prized with a weekend for two at an European capital at their own choice. They will be staying at a hotel of the Starwood-Sheraton chain. The lucky ones were Nikolina and Georgi Zaikovi, who chose the capital of Portugal Lisboa and the Sheraton Lisboa hotel. Stoyan Stoyanov and his wife preferred the Austrian capital Vienna. They will be guests at the world-famous hotel Imperial, opened in 1873 by Empreror Franz Josef I.As a result of HEBROSBANK'S campaign 11,000 new accounts and deposits, worth a total of BGN34MN, were opened at the financial institution. This campaign is just the peak of the iceberg because we intend to launch many new initiatives over the coming months, CEO Gautam Vir said.
