DSK PRIVATISATION SUPPORTED BY BSP
The strategy for the privatisation of DSK Bank is good and we shall not oppose the process once it has already begun because this could interfere the deal, Roumen Ovcharov, Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) said after a meeting between the party's leadership with DSK Bank's Director Krassimir Angarski. BSP's principal position underlying its congress documents was that DSK Bank should remain state-owned. The meeting with Mr. Angarski was demanded by the socialists and was necessitated because of the media interpretations regarding their talks with business club Vazrazhdane last week. Then the former head of the club Emil Kyulev and BSP's leader Sergei Stanishev stated that the financial institution should remain in the State's hands.
