DEPUTIES WILL INVITE BANKERS TO DISCUSS BILLS
Representatives of the Association of Commercial Banks (ACB) visited Ivan Iskrov, Chairman of the Parliamentary Budgetary and Finance Committee, and Vladimir Dimitrov, Chairman of the Parliamentary Economic Committee, to discuss coorperation between them. The meeting was held in connection with the forthcoming debates on the amendments to the Civil Procedures Code (CPC) and more specifically the provisions regulating the way in which the banks can dispose of collateralised property in case of bad debts.The deputies have approved ACB's proposal to launch a wide public debate and invite for participation in it representatives of all organisations, concerned with the amendments to the CPC. The future participation of bankers in debating all draft bills regarding their activities was discussed at the meeting as well. The projected amendments to the Taxation Procedures Code and to the Banks Act are among them.
