CUSTOMERS OF PETROL AD FILLING STATIONS WILL BE ABLE TO PAY BY DEBIT CARDS
As of the beginning of May the customers of Petrol AD filling stations will be able to pay by credit cards. The new service will be introduced at 300 from all the 440 petrol stations of the company. The cards will be issued and serviced by Transcard. With that company's help the managers of the petrol stations chain hope to make non-cash payment a standard for Petrol AD's network. The introduction of the new service is part of the 70 Years Petrol campaign, which was opened on April 17 with a procession of retro cars.By 2004 Petrol AD will invest EUR90,910,000 in moderization of the existing filling stations. The company's strategy projects to turn them into modern trade centres. In 2002 alone 38 petrol stations will be reconstructed. Petrol AD plans also to develop the network of fuel storage facilities and modernize the control laboratories. The company has 61 petrol storage facilities, 9 labs, and 3 terminals for petrol products - in Bourgas, Varna and the village of Somovit on the Danube.
