CORPORATE BANK HAS NOT RECEIVED BGL11MN FROM EUROBANK
No deposit amounting to BGL11MN has been launched by EUROBANK to Corporate Bank, part of which to be aimed at purchasing the building at the Sofia Garibaldi Square. EUROBANK doesn't even have accounts opened with us, neither our credit institution has any accounts with it, announced Corporate Bank's managers to the BANKER weekly newspaper.
It was commented in financial circles that Corporate Bank had taken BGL11MN from EUROBANK and intended to repay part of the sum, while the other part to be settled through transferring its stake of 19.43% in Central Co-operative Bank.
We have offered to the Bank Consolidation Company, which owns 32.78% of CCB's capital, a draft agreement for joint sale of our stakes in the co-operative bank, announced representatives of the Corporate Bank's management team. They, however, underlined that felt free to carry out talks with investors for the sale of their stake and even to sell it, as they haven't signed agreement with BCC yet.
