BULGARIAN INVENTORS AWARDED GOLD MEDALS IN USA AND RUSSIA
Four Bulgarian inventors were awarded gold medals at the Hall for Innovations in Moscow and the exhibition of New Products in Pistburg, USA. The inventors were within the delegation, organized by the Bulgarian-Amercian Commercial and Industrial Chamber, its Deputy Chairman Georgi Stefanov explained.The inventor Zhivko Zhelev was granted a gold medal and a diploma both in Russia and the USA for the method developed by him for protection of money, documents, and goods from counterfeiting. The method is a multimedia marking on various parts of the objects. If it is missing the police can immediately detect smuggled goods, and traders - falsified products. Assoc. Prof. Petar Dinev from the Technical University in Sofia was awarded a gold medal for his invention for detecting masked explosives, biological weapons, and drugs. Engineer Georgi Gulabov received a gold medal in Russia for his environment-friendly sea power plant, and Dimitar Todorov's medal is for his digital system for amplitude modulation of radio transmitters.
