On September 23, the Privatisation Agency (PA) organised four open tenders and sold all companies offered at their initial price. The Vidin-based Budintours OOD acquired 50.68% of the capital of Budintourist AD and paid BGN320,000. Both companies - the buyer and the acquired firm, are occupied in the hotel and tourist branch. Toyota-Tixim acquired Fenix-Turbo for BGN270,000. Georesurs-VVG, based in Simitli, became owner of 100% of the capital of Georesurs after buying the state-owned 30% stake for BGN187,000. The Vidin-based company AN SEL paid BGN4,200 for the acquisition of an independent unit of Vida - Snab. Razvitie-Industria Holding is going to invest BGN1.5MN in three of its subsidiaries in the next few years. The holding will spend EUR130,000 on renovation of the equipment of the Gabrovo-based Burya company, BGN40,000 will be invested in Tony, based in Sliven, and EUR150,000 will be spent on modernisation of Intransmach-Engineering. Part of the investment program is financed through a BGN500,000 credit launched by BULBANK.The Dubai-based Emirates air company declared to be interested in the privatisation of the Bulgaria Air company. The UAE air carrier controls 67 destinations in 47 countries in Europe, the Middle and the Far East, Africa, Asia, and Australia.The US Castel Cook company will most probably become majority shareholder in the Plovdiv-based Bulgarska Roza company. The parametres of the deal will be announced in October.
